Bottom of the bumper

It has an opening for the sync cable. It also has an opening for the headphone jack, and volume buttons.

i wonder if the bumper will be on sale at the apple store on the 24th

im sure but all of the colors but the black say on the apple store "ship by July 2nd or 16th". i would think they'd have some in stock in the stores? i might swing by best buy late thursday to check IF they have anything available.

The black one ships 6/24, but don't know if they'll be in the stores. The other colors won't be available until July.

There are opening for the ports, sleep/wake button, ring/silent switch. speaker and mics. The phone's volume buttons are covered by the metal buttons in the case.

anyone know if it will fit in the new dock with the bumper on?

when i went in to my apple store today i asked if i could buy the bumper.. he told me all the accessories will be sold staring on the release day .

Doubt it. The dock is designed to fit the phone snugly for support. Since the bumper covers the bottom, it won't fit in. They could make an adaptor for the universal dock that fits the bumper. but no mention of that (for the bumper).

black iPhone only & black bumper only on launch date...how odd is that? Whoever came up with this promotional idea needs a kick in the *!!!

Yeah, whatever...so it must be a production issue with the bumpers too, huh?. Black on launch day, then pink,white,orange,green,blue in July or August. Now, I'm getting tired of black just thinking about it.
