Remove formatting

How can I remove ALL formatting from a document. I know I can do that in Word, but I can't figure out how to do it in Pages.

Thanks!

What do you mean by ALL formatting?

Do you simply mean plain text?

+Menu > File > Export… > Plain Text+

…or odd variations in a styled paragraph?

Select the text and double click on a style you want to force on the text in the Styles Drawer.

You can't remove all formatting. You always have some kind of formatting.
What you could try is Paste and Match style (Klistra in och matcha stilen).

I have found that Pages08 is better to use when copying text etc. from the web. It doesn't add any table formatting. In Pages09 I have to first paste and then copy just the text and the images and paste again to get rid of the extra formatting.
