Viewing Purchase History from iPad?

Hello,

I know that I can see my purchase history in iTunes on my laptop but often I'm moving around with my iPad and would like to buy something. In the spirit of budget consciousness I'd like to check my purchase history directly from iTunes on my iPad before I go hog wild buying things.

I've been looking around and was able to see all my account info etc., but nothing on my previous purchases. Is this feature in there somewhere and I'm just missing it?

And if not is it something that can be added? Perhaps there's and app for that? 🙂

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to Apple Discussions. As far as I know, iTunes on the iPad will only show you what you've purchased on the iPad (under Downloads - Purchased). That might change after a sync, I don't know, but it didn't show me all my other iTunes purchases from the past after I synced, only the ones I purchased on the iPad itself.

Have you tried searching the iPad for the item you are thinking of buying?
If you have it then you don't need to buy it.

...or you can just buy it again and if you already got it with that account it'll tell you and the download is free. The ipad's app store will show you if what you are looking at is installed at that time.
