Where is my baseband version number located?
My firmware version is 3.1.3. Where can I find my baseband? Is there any reason someone would want to know my baseband?

Settings, general, about. Then look under modem firmware. That's your baseband. Why would someone want it? Mostly to find ways around Apple's "locks". Some programs to get around it require a certain baseband version so their software can bypass Apple's restrictions.
