I had the same problem. It's not at all a big deal to get rid out of this. Just put your iPhone in recovery mode. I will explain you how.
1. Do not connect your iPhone to your PC or Mac.
2. When it shows up the Apple logo with a spinning wheel, firstly hold your POWER BUTTON at the top for 3 SECS. Secondly, with holding the POWER BUTTON, press and hold your HOME BUTTON for 10 SECS. That is all. Now your phone is in recovery mode. It can be identified that your phone display will be turned OFF and you cannot turn ON your phone back.
3. Just plug in your device to PC or Mac. Start iTunes. Pls note : There must be an active Internet connection.
4. iTunes will detect your phone as a iPod. But pls don't get scared. because iTunes will automatically show you a window for restoring your iPhone.
5. Just a clicks away. Restore your iPhone to factory settings. then there will be no difference between yours and a genuine iPhone.
