Photos lost upgrading library to Ap3

I was attempting to transfer and update my aperture 2 library from my G5 to my aperture 3 library on macbook with snow leopard. While upgrading the library I got a message saying that my hardware was not compatible and then everything disappeared. Both libraries are gone now! What can I do? I've tried looking in the package contents for both and tried searching for it but with no luck.

iMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Hi and welcome to the Aperture Forum

By default your Aperture library is stored in your internal hard drive > Home Folder > Pictures > Aperture library.

Unless you have it stored elsewhere, like on an external hard drive, thats where it should be..

You need to make sure you meet the minimum requirements as well, like upgrading your Mac OSX to the most recent version. Aperture 2 is 32bit and Aperture 3 is 64bit.
Have a read of this article.... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3945

Once your system is up to speed for Ap3 have a look at this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805

It guides you through the common issues to get Ap3 up and running..

Hope this is useful

Regards.... Gerry..
