Launchd to run applescript

I have an applescript that I've written that requires user input and then it runs a shell script. I'm trying to create a launchd.plist and when I load the plist, it says it's loaded, but I don't have the dialog box on my screen, which is where the user puts the input. How do I make it startup like it does, when I double click the app?

launchd tasks don't normally interact with the user. That said, I've never tried what you describe.

I'd start by looking at the logs (specifically /var/log/system.log) to see what launchd has to say. It's probably also worth editing your script to add some debugging/logging to verify it's getting called in the first place. A simple shell command that appends something to the system log should suffice.
