Weird wifi problem

I have two networks set up in my house One over the verizon fios router and one over Airport Extreme with a Airport Express. The AE network always has a stronger single however the Ipad defaults to the verizon network. I have to manually change to network setting to AE. This seems to be a new problem. Is there a fix? Thanks

Go to Setting > WiFi > +Fios network name+ and select "Forget this Network". You might also want to set +Ask to Join Networks+ to OFF.

Thanks, but every now and again I need to access the verizon network. If I select "forget this network" how can I access it?

If you "Forget this network" the network will still be visible in the list of WiFi access points and you will still be able to manually select it and connect. "Forget this network" simply removes it from the list of known networks which are automatically connected to when available.
