Agree to terms and conditions or iPhone 4 order canceled?

Hello all,

I just spoke with someone from Apple and he said I should have received an email to accept the iPhone terms and conditions. And if these are not agreed to the order is automatically canceled. The thing is I never received the email, I got my order in on the 15th and it says delivery for the 24th. So he took me to the site and I put in the info. He gave me the sales order number which is different than the web order number on the receipt. And after I put it in it says "Your order cannot be found. Please make sure you have entered the info correctly or contact Apple". So he said he's not exactly sure why it isn't working but it could be because they haven't fully processed my order for that step yet. Anyhow, my question is has anyone else received this email? The address is below.

He said if I don't get the email in a day or2 to call them back or AT&T.

I just got the following e-mail from Apple for two of my four iPhone Orders (all orders are ONE iPhone per phone line NOT two!).

Dear Customer,

We were unable to complete the authorization process for your iPhone
order. As a result, we had to cancel your iPhone order. To complete the
purchase of your iPhone, please visit an Apple Retail Store or an AT&T
company-owned retail store.

That site is NOT a scam. I went to my apple store, and was walked thru this because I got the same email about failed authorization. I entered the sales order number in the email title head and my email. 5 min later I had my order complete and regular order number to keep track of progress. Its a link that leads to terms and conditions that you need to check the accept button. There is something tha will trigger the need to agree to terms and conditions, but for some reason not for all.

It's still crap because at the bottom of your order acknowledgement it tells you that you've already accepted the iPhone terms and condition because you do it while you're ordering. Not sure why you would need to do something else separate that even Apple customer reps can't even agree on.

Yeah I agree. I never said it was a scam. The others brought that up. I just posted the link. The thing with the link when I went to put in my info yesterday it said my order could not be found. This was done with the Apple rep on the phone and my phone was in "not yet shipped" status. It was even fine today and them this afternoon it was canceled. I just don't understand how they expect you to agree to the terms to a phantom address that isn't on any emails and then when you get there it doesn't work and the Apple rep on the phone can't help either. Now shouldn't they be able to put the order to the next step if they see I am trying to agree (even if I already did)? If it's that important then it should be on your order acknowledgement where you can't miss it. But I digress. Forget both companies. They botched the whole thing.
