How to find SIM card phone number?

Hi,

how do I find out the phone number associated to the MicroSIM card in my iPad 3G+WiFi? I suppose I could put the SIM card into a mobile and call someone... but there must be some way to display my number on iPad?

I'm aware that the iPad does not allow for calls or SMS, I just need the number to register for the online billing (Vodafone Germany).

Go to Settings, Cellular data, View account (making sure cellular data is "ON"), Account info will open, forcing login. The number will be displayed in the pop-up window after you log into the account.

+Einstellungen -> Allgemein -> Info -> Mobile Datennummer+

This seems to work only with some carriers such as AT&T in the US. Vodafone Germany does not support this, so there is no "View account" option.

Thank you, that was it.

For some reason I cannot register on the Vodafone website with that number. Probably because the iPad cannot receive SMS... oh well.
