Error uploading application to AppStore

I have completed my iPhone/iPod Touch application and have completed the App application (with information, icon, screenshots, etc.). All I have left to do is upload the application. However, I get an error when I try to upload it ("The binary you uploaded was invalid. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.").

I checked the "Validate Build Product" checkbox in the info panel for the Target in Xcode. When I build the application I get the warning: "Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate. (-19011)".

I imagine that this is why the binary is invalid.

Can someone please help me figure out how to get this fixed. Thank you.

The best instructions are in the program portal part of the iphone developer site. They give you step by step instructions on creating, downloading and installing the certifications, provisioning profiles etc.

Oh my gosh, I will try then to re-create my certificates... I hope this will work.
Does anybody knows why did this issue happened? I have a suspicion for X code 3.2.3 because I installed it after I had created my certificates...

Anyway, I have to admit the whole upload process is a mess and difficult. I hope that Apple will improve it in future 😟

Best regards
