I decided to burn all my cd's and keep the copy in my car after my brother had his car broken into and his CDs missing. Anyways to get to the point, this cd player worked fine with itunes up until itunes 9, after that all burns from Itunes stopped reading in the car. The car is a 05 Santa Fe with the factory CD player in it. Any and all new non burned discs that I buy from Best Buy will read but once I put them in the comp and create burned copies and mixes, no cd having more than 12 songs, nothing burned from itunes will read anymore. Does anyone know why? is it a glitch in the new program? I checked with the dealership and they said windows burned CDs work fine, but from what we could tell, mac no longer works. This is also the case for toast Titanium 10.0.6/ neither will burn a working CD-R or CD+R anymore that can be read by my car what is wrong with this?? Can anyone help?
When you burn the CDs are you burning Audio CDs. MP3 CDs or Data CDs?
The only kind of disc that will play in your car is Audio CDs.
When you burn a CD, you get a dialogue box, in that there is a drop down box where you pick the type of disc, make sure it is set to Audio CD.
I'm having the same problem! Granted, I have never burned a CD and played it in my own car. But I have burned CD's for others and it works. I remember fitting about 50 tracks on it, so I beleive I burned it as MP3, and the people I burned them for have cars that play mp3 files. However, my own car does not play mp3's. So last night I burned a CD as audio cd and it does not work. I'm not sure what version of Itunes I'm using. I remember there was an update yesterday but I did not download it. You think the update was a fix?
Burned CD-s work in my Ford Puma 1998 stereo, but don't work in my Hyundai Tiburon 2007 stereo. CD-s burned by previous owner like 10 years ago work. Reducing recording speed didn't help.
