iBookstore

Does anyone know when the iBookstore will be open in iTunes??

I want to browse some books in preparation for my iPhone 4 and reading them at work HAAHAA

(Don't tell my manager:

MacBook & 24inch iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.4), Owns 24inch 3.06Ghz iMac and iPhone 4 owner (waiting)

There is no timeline or announcement of the iBookStore being available in iTunes.
As far was we know it may never be part of iTunes.

Yes, that is the only way at the moment to buy iBooks (on the iPad now or on the iPhone when iBooks 1.1 is released).

When you get your new iPhone it will not have the iBooks software installed on it.
You will have to download that from the App Store (it will be free), but the current version will not work on the the iPhone, you will have to wait for iBooks 1.1 which is coming later this month.
