Windows XP won't recognize my iPhone 3GS! Help!

Well one day I was about to sync my iPhone, but then I realized that I needed to update iTunes. Well I did so and then the computer was installing/scanning my camera, I pressed cancel and then after that everything went wrong. Then I repluged it back in now "My Computer" and iTunes doesn't even recognize it anymore. Nothing pops up, it's like I'm plugging it into a nonfunctioning computer. I want to know what I did wrong and how I can fix it. Thanks for your help!

P.S. Any other computer it works perfectly, except for mines. 😟

Windows XP, iPhone OS 3.1.3

NEVER cancel anything while there is an installation going on. While I can't be sure, it sounds like you computer is fine EXCEPT for iTunes. If that is so, I would try reinstalling iTunes. If you can, I would first try to remove any iTunes folders.
