Cursor randomly goes to screen corners
Strange behavior of my cursor! It frequently and without apparent cause goes to a random screen corner when I am using my mouse. I notice that it only happens when I have my hand on the mouse, but there's no particular movement that I can tell that triggers it.
I'm using the standard Apple wired keyboard and wired mouse that came with the iMac in the early 2006 Intel iMac 17" model. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.3, but this was a problem too when running 10.4.11.
It can happen in any application as far as I can tell. The cursor goes first to a screen border, then travels along the edge to the nearest corner where it stays until I move it back to where I was working. Lately it has been occurring more than once a minute when I'm using my mouse. It's driving me nuts! Please help!
