iOS 4 Initial impressions

Has anyone set up the multiple email inbox yet? I'm curious to know if its difficult.

Really like the folders and unified inbox for mail

Just downloaded it myself and i have the same model as you, and took about the same time to download and instal, at first glance it looks impressive and i cant wait to customize and play with it 🙂

I am trying to figure out how to use folders... duh.

Task switching is nice - double tap the home button.

The mail common inbox is pretty good. The update just set it up. No problems.

I'm having the same issues others are reporting. My sync'ed Photo Library images are super grainy and fuzzy on my 3GS. Camera Roll pics are fine. Anyone else?

Just installing on my device now so will give feedback in due course. but i wanted to ask if anyone who had the call waiting beep issue has this new update fixed that issue?

Yes mine the same defo a problem, Noticed bing is on too as a search engine

No set up involved. I had three accounts synced to my phone and now I can see them all in one place. Simple.

The only issue I'm having with the new update so far is that the text seems kinda buggy, i.e. when I'm using the messages app or typing this right now. It's slow to respond at times (not too bad though) and, it may just be me, but my punctuation (double space for periods, commas) don't always work when I want them to.
Other than that, I love it.

Unsync your pics, then resync them. They need to be re-optimized, under the new iOS.

Just did and it works! Photo Library images are great again.

Multitasking is AWESOME. But as I'm clicking through a bunch of apps, it's clear that a lot of developers have some work to do to get their apps multitasking-compatible! Pandora plays in the background, and is controllable by the universal audio controller -- very sweet!

I love the folders. You can put up to 12 apps per folder.

The wallpaper, I'm less enthusiastic about because it just makes the background busy and the text harder to read. Also, if there's a way to turn off the animation of the icons zooming in from four corners, I'd love to do that; again, it just makes the screen unnecessarily busy when you're trying to focus on it.

I love the "Folders"! My iPhone 3GS is so much better organized now.

How do you unsync and resync when there is no photo option in iTunes??

Highlight your iPhone under devices and then click on the photos tab on iTunes. The options are there.
