I just upgraded to iOS4 - I connect my iPhone to an Exchange server - mail and contacts work great - my calendar seems to show the right account info but the calendar is totally blank. Nothing on it at all. I even removed it and added it back and its still all blank.
Think there is a bug is the software. Not sure if it's Exchange server end or iOS4, but my exchange calendar worked flawlessly before iOS4 upgrade.
Like you I get a blank calendar.
The funny thing is, if you create a sub calendar on your Exchange Server, it will show entries fine, it's just the main calendar that is an issue.
Also a problem if you add a second exchange account. 'Main' calendar show blank, even though there are entries on the server, but sub calendars show entries fine.
Think this is something apple needs to sort via a s/ware update.
Same here, Calendar is blank. Exchange mail is spotty, and searching exchange contacts doesn't work either. Seems like Exchange/Google Sync is pretty broken in iOS4.
I have had the same experience with my 2 3GS phones. I had a phone call with support and they seemed to be aware of the problems. I am using gmail and MS exchange for email, contacts, and calendar. The support tech said they would call me with a solution. Till then I will just use the web browser for accessing everything.
I am having a similar issue. My calendar appears to be working via exchange however my contacts are only partially syncing. With iOS 3 I had no issues, but since the update I have only a partial list of contacts.
I'm gettin problems just connecting with it at all. my other 2 mail accounts are fine but the Exchange wont receive. I cant even delete a mail because it wont connect and so it says it "Failed to move to trash" or something. Hope its fixed soon
Same issue here with 3GS...the moment I upgraded, all calendar entries disappeared. Interestingly, new meetings that I make or that are sent do show up.
After an update to IOS4 I still had the old calendar data from the Exchange calendar. New events didn't sync to or from the iPhone.
I removed the account and added it again. When opening calendar app it seems to access teh network but I don't get any calendar data.
Same on two phones at our company with Exchange 2007. No problem with iPhone OS 3 nor 10.6 clients.
When I switched to iOS4 my existing and working connection to my work exchange server stopped working all together. What seems to be the problem is I have a domain of say xy, however my email address is abc@abc.edu not abc@xy.abc.edu. When I enter the correct email address and try to get mail/contacts/calendar it initialy tries and starts getting information, but then for some reason, iOS4 suddenly overrides my email address and sets it to abc@xy.abc.edu which is now an incorrect email address and I get messages that it could not connect. I was loving the new iOS4 till I found out this little jewel of a bug :/
Iphone 3GS
OS4 installed
Exchange OTA with Outlook 2003
Result: Mail & contacts are in sync but calendar is blank. The calendar is listed on the calendar list but as soon as i go into the calendar it is blank.
I have tried to: deactivate/reactivate the calendar, delete and create again my exchange account, restore the iPhone.
The issue is still the same!!!
Is the issue coming from the OS4 or Microsoft exchange servers not yet compatible with OS4? Who knows...but we need a fix ASAP!
After thinking about it, i think it is an iOS4 glitch, it can't be a microsoft exchange issue otherwise we would not have mails and contacts available...here it is just the calendar.
