iPod on 3GS iPhone crashing after iOS4 install

Anyone else having this problem?

Upgrade went smoothly. But I cannot use the ipod on my iPhone. It loads and then quits after a second or two.

I've shut down and restarted my phone, I've even done a hard reset by holding down the power and home button for 10 secs. Still no joy.

Any help is appreciated.

Was able to Resolve this. Do the following:

Plug iPhone into computer. Wait for it to appear in iTunes and sync. With it still plugged into the computer, unlock the phone and open the iPod app. It should say something about building or rebuilding the library. Allow that to finish ("This may take a few minutes" may vary based on the size of your library). Should work at that point.

Attempted. Failed.

iPod app opens, shows songs in currently-playing setlist, then crashed.

Before attempting iPod, I did update Pandora to see that multitasking was possible. But I paused Pandora and quit it before attempting to launch iPod.

Also rebooted iPhone 3GS and got the same result. iPod starts, shows playlist, and crashes.

Also having this problem. I should've noticed something was up when I ran some errands and noticed my 3 podcasts were gone. But I was able to listen to an album, so I shrugged and figured the podcasts were a casualty of the upgrade.

I re-downloaded those pods later. Went to listen to them and the podcast section of the iPod was still empty. iPod crashes. I re-open and try to see if the music still works. Crashes again, and has been crashing since.

These podcasts keep downloading successfully, but I have no idea where they're going.
