hi, i just updated my iphone to iOS 4 and just noticed that I do
not have MMS anymore on my iPhone 3G S. i already checked through settings, and found nothing.
how can i enable mms again?!

my mms works fine for sending and recieving. if your on o2, send MMS to 1010
my itunes prompted me to install a carrier update for o2 which is 7.1 when downloading ios4

my itunes only let me update to iOS 4 and thats it. it didnt ask about any carrier update cuz i have the latest.
Ok people listen!!!!! I updated my phone and I'm having the same issues, I have no MMS and no Internet. However my buddy who just bought a 3gs has no issues what so ever. I did notice something peculiar. If I go to settings>>messages>> I see show preview, repeat alert, and character count. But on his phone he has show preview, repeat alert, mms messaging, group messaging show subject field and character count. We both updated at the same time but got 2 different results. The only workaround I know is to do a restore and setup as a new iphone however I'm not going to do that I shouldn't have to. Now the only noticeable differences in both our phones is under settings>general>about our models are different I have MC135LL and he has MC136LL. Hope I can help at all lol
i have no visual voicemail and no mms. at first it had all my artists listed on my iphone, but said i had no songs; i fixed that. i have no apn. : / what the heck apple : [ this update is supposed to be awesome
You'll have to restore your iPhone. Connect your iphone to you computer, run iTunes and then right below the check for updates button click on restore iphone.
Be sure to say yes when it asks you whether you want to create a backup. You'll probably have to add your songs manually. It's tedious, but it worked for me.
After iPhone claimed I had 0 songs, even though they were listen in my music library on the phone, I synced with iTunes and the problem was solved. However, i still did not have mms, internet, or visual voicemail so I was forced to do a restore. I even talked to both apple and att.
After I restored my iPhone I ran into a million problems. My start up disk is now full and because of it I can't restore my iPhone from my backup. Pretty much I've lost all my setting, sms, notes, etc. Everything is gone except for what I have in iTunes. I worked on this literally all day.
I'm really not happy about the update at all : [
Next time there's an update, I'll wait until it's safe!
