Changing folder Icons

Ok maybe I'm just stupid but how do you change the folder's icon? I updated to ios 4.0 and i love that I can create folders but since they all look the same I have to read the tiny text at the bottom to see which one I want.

FAIL

I want a graphical representation of what is inside.

Iphone 3gs, iOS 4

no you simply cannot. still, i have a feeling that apple might allow us to do so in the next coming update.

davshirley is right on . . . it is hard to read the text for the folders. Even if one of the apps in the folder was the icon representation for the folder would be acceptable at this point . . . I've got a case of o.l.d. and it is hard to read in less then optimum conditions . . . ;^)

I wonder how much they pay these designers/developers to be obvlious to basic design flaws like this...

anyway...the solution I have used until they fix it is to change the folder description to spaced capitals, eg N E W S

At least my less than perfect eyes can more readily see what each of the folder is at a glance.

yes you can use icons for the folder names - you just have to have them on your phone- then you can copy/paste them into the folder name field - although all the ones i have used come out in white so they arent that noticable
