If I have a reservation email, does that mean I am safe?

I think the answer to this question is yes. But I see a lot of people complaining they made a reservation, called the store, and found they don't have a reservation. Has anyone received email confirmations, and called the apple store and found they don't have one?

I tried to call the apple store the other day and they guaranteed me that I do have one on reserve if I got an email about it, but they wouldn't look it up in their list since I said I had the email confirmation.

Build-it-yourself, Windows 7, also mac mini

Hi Jack, and thanks for the info in your post, puts my mind a bit more at ease. I have the original email, the reminder email and the Apple Store App all say I have one reserved so from what you've said, I should be good. The only thing missing is when I sign in with my AppleID and password on the Tyson's Corner Apple.com page, it shows I have no past or upcoming appointments. I'm going to stop by the store in Tyson's Corner tomorrow on my lunch break just to show them everything I have and make sure I'm good to go but again, I appreciate the info.

Yes I am in Ohio and the Apple store is 30 minutes away. I plan on working then leaving early (around 2ish) to pick up my phone. Legally, it is a reservation so I hope they will still have my reserved phone. After all of the issues they have had with this launch, I would hope they have enough and if they don't, I expect a discount!!! Ha ha! I wouldn't even mind waiting another week for mine!
