How to hook up two monitors

I have a macbook pro that has a DVI mini port. I would like to hook up this computer to two monitors so i can have extra screen space. Each monitor has to be connected via VGA.

any ideas?

Your post has appeared in the Mac Pro (Tower) section. I originally answered this question for The Mac Pro, sorry if you got the earlier answer by email.

Your MacBook Pro will support its Built-in screen used at the same time as an external display. Each can be part of an Extended Desktop, and they can be arranged using the System Preferences > Displays once the external display is present.

My son uses this set-up with a larger display behind and up on a slight pedestal, so that it is elevated above the top of the opened MacBook. It works really nicely.
