If do not know Erik, CC 120-127 have not work with external controllers for very long time. Note, they have been working only if you create virtual buttons in the environment and click them manually.
It is a good new if this is fixed in L9.1.1 ( I have not tried yet in this version, and I'm away of my equipment right now ). Any way it is a good new or if the OP has developed some trick or workaround it will be very useful to share with the others here.

I'm sorry, I meant that I've got the Steinberg's CC121 Surface controller to communicate with Logic Pro 9. Since this piece was supposed to work with Cubase only, I thought that it would be interesting... I've read some older topics of people trying or wondering if that could ever happen...

That's all. I wasn't talking about Continuous Controller parameter 121...

I didn't know that, no. But I started using Logic in 2008, and have never needed the CC 121 message. I'm quite surprised to hear that the channel mode messages didn't work with external controllers. Seems sort of a basic thing.... anyway, thanks for informing me, and sorry to the OP for (sort of) jumping to conclusions. And indeed, thanks for sharing.
...and thanks to Steinberg, for wrongfooting us... 😀
