Google issue

Hi,

I am running leopard on a mac mini as a media center. I just ran the most recent software update last week sometime and I just noticed an issue. Not sure if it is a safari or leopard issue. Since the update I cannot go to any google servers. It seems like the whole domain is blocked. I am running Safari 5.0 and can reach google on my laptop off of the same wireless connection. Any pointers?

Hi Daniel

is this just Safari - do other browsers work ?

Temporarily ry another user account - create one via System Preferences-Accounts
These instructions are for 10.6 - but the procedure's the same.

If a new account is no better, I'd suggest adding DNS numbers to System Preferences-Network-Advanced-DNS

Follow the instructions at http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using.html#setup and use the numbers there, or 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 which are run by opendns.com
