Spell Check not working

Spell Check not working

I upgraded to iOS4 and it went smooth, but the only feature not working is spell check. How do I turn that on. I typed misspelled words in an email and I didn't see the red underline or anything. Are there specific settings to allow this feature? My keyboard and language are in English. Any help would be appreciated.

Was that a new feature that was supposed to be added. I had not heard of it.

Yes, spell checking is supposed to be a new feature with iOS 4, but it doesn't seem to be working on my phone. It's the only feature that I can't get to work.
I have figured out my problem. Auto-correction has to be turned for it to work. Okay, now I'm happy.

It varies per application presented that is updated. Right now I've only seen it in Apple's core apps. Notes and Mail are right away, but Calendar and Safari you have to select the mispelt word like "Wendys" and it will suggest what it should be.

Only if the app is "4.0 tested" and the operator updates it would it suggest new words.
