Does upgrading the RAM myself void the Warranty/Applecare Protection?

Question says it all really lol I just want to know if adding in more RAM, which I purchased from Apple, voids the warranty if I do it myself at home?
If the answer is NO, then thats fantastic!
If the answer is YES it does void the warranty... then why the **** doesn't it say so on the Apple site on the page that shows you how to add RAM in!?!? lol

Cheers guys and gals

Hi Phil

Welcome to Apple Discussions

JaimieV is correct, check on Page #37 of the User's Guide that came with your iMac.

You can also purchase tested iMac ram with a lifetime warranty from OWC at a better price than your Apple retailer.
