Anyone else having the same message pop up repeatedly?
Immediately after activating my phone and restoring my data, this message starts popping up for no reason I can identify.

No audio from iTunes, video files, or applications coming from the bottom speakers (only available via headphones).

Ringtone, alarms, and regular speakerphone work without any problem.

Never plugged into an accessory device and bluetooth has remained off since delivery...

It's madness...or perhaps a spooky ghost device haunting my new iPhone 4...

After calling technical support, I was instructed to plug-in and unplug my Apple headphones 10-12 times. The thought is that some devices come from the factory in "headset" mode despite not being connected to headsets.

This did not work for me and the problems continue, though maybe it will work for you. If not, you're one step closer to getting a repair/replacement when you get technical support on the line.

I am getting the message with my 2009 Honda CR-V when I plug it in to the usb. So annoying. I upgraded my iPhone 3g two days ago.

Yesterday I called Honda USA and was told that the firmware will need to be updated in my car. They, however, could not tell me when that would be happening, only that it might take some months. I am supposed to harass my local Honda dealer regularly (meaning, call them every week or so) because they will know when they'll get it in.

So I guess my old iPod is going to be put back into service. It plays nice with my Honda...
