UK people, how was the Iphone 4 stock today?

My local apple store had ok stock, but they also HAD White ones, I couldn't believe when the why said yesterday, I go this morning and they have been told they can't sell them now, totally unfair.

Just been in to Carphone Warehouse and they have no stock in store because it hasn't been delivered yet, Carphone Warehouse are saying that they haven't been authorised to sell it yet.

Either that or they just screwed up the the staff are making excuses 🙂

i went to carphone warehouse yesterday to get a micro sim and the woman didnt even know what one was!

i was called on tuesday by carphone warehouse to enable me to pre-order mine (apparently i am a priority customer?!?!)

the text i received from them prior to the call said that i could not call them to place an order as their stock was very limited and they were not taking telephones orders, i simply had to wait for a call from them. they were calling specific customers to offer them the pre order stock. not sure if they will get any stock in the indivdual stores.

I also notice that currently O2 are only taking orders from current customers. Customers new to the O2 network cannot yet place an order with O2, again due to stock restrictions.

why do you not just order from apple?

I got one this morning from our local O2 shop after queuing from 8am. But they only had 10 32GB ones and 20 16GB ones. Apparently they're not expecting more stocks for another 3 weeks.

I'm queuing outside the O2 store in Welwyn Garden City, an hour in to the wait.
They only have 16GB versions left, but people are still joining the queue and they are saying they still have more stock.

So best call and check the stores near you 🙂

same time apple are shipping to orders from there site! 🙂

There is a 3 week wait for a reason......anyone smell White !!

Was second in line this morning at 6.50am and got mine by 8.30. There were loads of people queueing by then and they only had 19 phones in stock, a mixture of 16 and 32 GB. Am still waiting for my sim to activate though!!!!!!

Managed to get mine this morning at the local O2 in Newton Abbot. I was their at 6:30 and there was 17 people in front of me. When I left they only had 2 32GB left and 10 16GB left. In the queue behind me I would roughly another 30 people waiting.
