No Cases?

I would like to know as well because mine feels like it could slip out of my hands easily. I have to make sure to really hold onto it.

Right after buying my iphone 4, i drove to bestbuy and purchased a RocketFish Gell case. I like it.

I think Apple should give anyone and everyone who purchased an iphone 4 a free bumper, and not charge $29 bucks or whatever it is!!! Maybe the antenna reception problems may end!

lol, I don't think you realize that most of Apple's profit comes from the $29 mark-up on an otherwise $0.99 case.

Apple ships bumpers at the end of July, it looks like. Tried Best Buy and ATT and the Apple store today ... none of them have the bumpers or even know when they'll arrive. Most of the third-party stuff out is pure crap.

The bumpers were available (in black only) at launch yesterday, but most stores have since sold out.

Also, the bumpers are just that - they don't have a back as most of the currently available cases do.

Go to an Apple store, tell them about the reception issues, listen to them ask you buy a $29 bumper, and then tell them how appalled you are at their recommendation and how disappointed you are with this iPhone's quality and Apple's bad customer service regarding a real issue that so many are complaining about.

That got me a free bumper. It's made me a little more patient for a real fix.

I am hoping otterbox comes out with there cases before my phones comes. They actually look kinda nice IMHO and being in construction the way they protect the phone is great.

My Apple store had only the black bumpers on release day. I was in an AT&T store Friday and got an iFrogz purple & black case. I really like the way it fits & feels. Interestingly even though it's made by iFrogz, it was packaged by AT&T. If you go to iFrogz website they only show 3G & 3GS cases.

whats with apple and the color issue? no white phones...no colored bumpers? lol If they start giving them out free.. I'm going to be peeved..I just ordered a couple 😟

I went to my local best buy today and they had at least 5 different cases in different colors. I got the Griffin reveal. It's like the bumper but it has a clear plastic cover on the back. Looks good. Check their website if you don't have a store close.

You spent $87.00 on the Apple Bumpers that cost about $3.00 to manufacture? I'm a nice guy, so I won't call you an idiot, I will just call you crazy! 🙂

I love the aesthetics of the iP4 and don't use cases. I use my Oakley silk string bag to store it in while I am not using it. I don't understand the concept behind the bumpers. They don't protect the front or the back, which is the most important areas to protect.

I just don't get it. Sounds like the bumpers were made to fix the issues involving the reception that Apple already knew about.

Yeah, it's a huge conspiracy :\

Too bad Apple didn't think of something that protects the front/back when it's placed on a flat surface...oh wait.
