You need to put the .exs files into your user sampler instrument folder located at:

user > library > application support > logic > sampler instruments

Simply drag these files into this folder.

Next, open up logic and create an EXS24 instrument track. You won't see the instrument in the drop down list so click on "refresh menu" and re-open the list.

I'm sorry for the question ... I do not own this pack yet and I was curious to search it on the net. What I see from the authors [SITE|http://www.vengeance-sound.com/eng/indexes/indexSampleCDs.html] the bundle is in WAV format which will require that you must create EXS Instrument patches by yourself. Where did you download the EXS Instrument extensions from ?

Well, I found out them. O.K follow the steps:
1/Go to *User\Library\Application Support\Logic\Sampler Instruments* and create a new folder named "VEC3" inside the "Sampler Instruments" folder and extract the EXS instrument pack (folders/files) in the new "VEC3" folder.
2/ Go out of the "Sampler Instruments" to the main *User\Library\Application Support\Logic* dir and create a new folder named "EXS Factory Samples" - I guess you do not have such one yet.
3/ Create a new folder inside the "EXS Factory Samples" one and name it "VEC3" after that extract all WAV folders/files to that folder.

Open Logic and load EXS instrument - all must be there in a good order.

It is strange... Try to check the permissions of this dir.
Or, delete the sub folder "VEC3" I was talking about in step (3) in my previous post and extract all WAV folders/files as they are on the original sample pack directly to the "EXS Factory Samples" folder. Click "Refresh", in the EXS patches menu as was suggested earlier.

I have run into the same problem as you, and I find I can get around it by doing some variation on what Vacheto said. So maybe you could give that another try.

It shouldn't matter where the samples go, because Logic is supposed to be able to use Spotlight to find them anywhere. However, I notice this doesn't always work the way it's supposed to work. But something else you could try is reindexing Spotlight. See here: "Spotlight: How to re-index folders or volumes."

Also, the VEC package contains both one-shot material and loops. The EXS instruments they provide are designed to make all that material accessible from within the EXS24. This makes sense for the one-shot material, but I think this is probably not the most convenient way to work with loops. I think ideally the loops should be available in the Loops Browser, and work just like Apple Loops, i.e., automatically preview in the proper tempo, and automatically follow your project tempo.

This can be easily accomplished, but they don't tell you how. If this is something that interests you, let me know and I'll explain it.
