Microsoft Flight Simulator X on Windows 7 Pro

Hello,

I just installed Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro and also FSX. When I try to load the game, I get a message that says "Flight Simulator is not working with your video card." What can I do to fix this? Where can I get new drivers or anything to fix it?

Thank you.

Did you checked windows update? Probably there you can find an update for your video card under the "recommended update" menu. Besides, what model of the Macbook pro you have? (mid 2009 or spring 2010). Also take note that the macbook pro will always use the discrete videocard (if your macbook pro model has one) while in windows instead of the integrated 9400m or Intel HD graphics ship.

Hope this helps.

You will not get Nvidia or ATI updates from Microsoft Windows Update, there sometimes are device drivers, but you would still need to update it manually.

Getting graphic driver to install on MacBook Pro has been a common issue with the MacBook Pro.

Uninstalling the driver that Apple installed via the Boot Camp 3.x driver package is usually step one and have the ATI or Nvidia driver package handy.

I'd have to look myself to see what solutions others with MBP have posted.

We really would benefit from a "STAR" rating or not just answered/solved/closed but actual solutions, and that could be put at the top of the forum as tips and FAQ even, some kind of stickies.

But there is a thread out there.
