Dec 25, 2013 7:31 AM in response to whoknows7by Romi Khan,Hey guys. i was having the same problem . the other day my iphone suddenly stopped vibrating and it was like an arrow straight to my heart. i tried every solution but couldnt find the way to correct it. however i started to check my phone . it is a hardware problem and YOU CAN SOLVE IT AT YOUR OWN THE WAY I DID IT.
First of all all you have to do is to download iBrate Vibrate. once it is downloaded open the app and place your finger on the screen and gently tap your phone at the place near to the headphone jack. i mean the place between the power button and headphone jack. it will start working.
Still if anybody has any query he can contact me on skypee. my id is zahid_razmian or he can text me on whatsappp on +923139550366
thanks

Feb 26, 2014 6:20 AM in response to Romi Khanby Whitliner,How brilliantly simple
My old (4 yrs?) iPhone 4 stopped vibrating. Downloaded the free iBrate and ran it - no vibration. Tapped the left side of the phone gently against my hand, no joy. Tapped the back of the top of the phone against my open hand, nothing, tapped a little bit harder - BINGO!
Thanks guys

Aug 12, 2014 5:05 PM in response to mrshinyteethby JLove1995,This works, but only temporarily. The phone won't vibrate for me unless I keep hitting the vibrator area, and when I run the app, it occasionally stops vibrating so I have to hit it again. This is not really a permanent solution.

Dec 14, 2015 6:47 AM in response to mrshinyteethby EveryxSolution,That unfortunately never helped with the same problem which I had. I have found another solution, but it's definitely a long process. Firstly, I opened iTunes and reset the phone with my data backed up; once that was completed I restored the phone with the data that I wanted, this never solved anything. I finally came to conclusion that it might be a technical fault; so I repeated the same process but without restoring any data at all including pictures, videos and contacts, practically a factory reset. The problem was sorted with the factory reset and came to the conclusion that it was a technical fault, although the disadvantages were that I had to manually restore the data which I wanted.
