Sequencer

Hi, Every body, how are you, I am doing fine. My question is does Logic pro's have a sequencer in any of the instruments

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.3), Aluminum version first launch

As mentioned, that's an odd question, because Logic is a sequencer.

However, I think you're asking about an analog-style 8- or 16-step pattern sequencer.

No, Logic doesn't directly include one, to my knowledge, but it's possible to build one with a little environment hacking.

For instance Logic's Ultra Beat has a step sequencer. As was mentioned you can create a custom Environment step sequencer in the Environment and use it with any Software Instrument like EXS,ES1 etc. Depends on the Environment design it can be Drum sequencer, Bass sequencer etc. Lot's of features can be implemented in such custom tool. As an example it can support unique memory storage for the patterns let say you can store up to 127 patterns and recall them using CC, Program external and internal messages. The Macro tool can has its own internal "Clipboard" so you can copy/paste the patters from one cell to another and modify it etc. The custom Step Sequencer parameters can be programed specially so you can control them externally via CC or record/draw region automation as well.
