"Cannot connect to iTunes Store" - iPhone 4

My iPhone 4 won't connect to iTunes (Sometimes it does, most of the time it won't). I have full signal strength on 3G network. I never had a problem connecting with my 3GS iPhone.

Anyone else on here having issues with connecting to ITunes Store (App store) via your new iPhone 4?

Also, I'm posting this message from my iPhone 4 now and it's taking a few tries because I keep getting the following message: "Cannot Open Page. Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found"

Wonder what's wrong??

Hello Everyone.

This is a very simple fix. If you are at an airport, or a hotel and cannot get into the app store,

go to your settings

go to wifi, choose a network

click the blue arrow beside the network you are connected too

go Down to DNS. delete all of the numbers in there and enter 8.8.4.4

go to search domain and change it to google.com

This will fix your issues.

Thank you Paulo! I have changed the time about 10 times, reset my password, logged in and out again - basically tried every single suggestion that people had BUT I had a new bank card (so the expiry date/CVC code were out of date) so I've updated it and it all works 😁

I am very happy after weeks of frustration - I got a new card ages ago but it's never prompted me to update my details. Your solution works perfectly 🙂

What I did and it worked was to do the following steps:

1. Go to SETTINGS

2. Click iTUNES & APP STORE

3. Click your APPLE ID

4. Click SIGN OUT

5. Go to SETTINGS

6. Click GENERAL

7. Click RESET

8. Click RESET ALL SETTINGS

9. Go to SETTINGS

10. Click iTUNES & APP STORE

11. Click your APPLE ID

12. Click SIGN IN

This is what I did and it worked for me. Goodluck

When you reset your settings none of your personal stuffs like contacts, photos or even songs nothing will get lost it only changes your phone to factory settings. But befor doing restore pls try like this.

1. Connect your iphone, ipad or ipod with itunes through you pc.

2. Click Store --- View my account- log in

3. Update your bank details and all other personal details properly specially your bank card details should be match with your home adress. Dont worry untill purchasing anything you wont get charge its just registering your card details.

4.Scroll down and on Settings you can see "Reset all warnings for buying and download." Please press RESET.

And wait for this process to get done after that sync your iphone, ipad or ipod again through itunes and disconnect it from the pc.
