iTunes Producer app. How long after book delivery?

What's the average time it takes for a book to show up on iBooks after it's been delivered via the iTunes Producer app? Does anyone know?

Thanks!

I have had ebooks show up in bookstore in as little as three days, but usually it is longer. I have the feeling that nothing much happens on the weekend. It must be that human eyes have to look at the book before they release it for sale.

I put my last book up on the weekend on amazon, barnes and noble, and apple all at the same time. Nook got it up within about 12 hours, and amazon within twenty four hours, and both of them happened on the weekend. It's now been three days and counting waiting on the apple bookstore. I think apple is very much into quality control, and they really check the books out before they put them up for sale.

I suspect that all of these organizations that sell ebooks are extremely careful that books don't get published in their bookstores in which copyright violations are a possiblity. They each have a process of due diligence that keeps them from having liability problems.

I am actually surprised how easy it is to get a book published. And of all the publishing formats, I like the way the ibooks turn out the best. The final product is most pleasing to my eye when it comes out on my ipad and iphone.
