Recommendations for protective film?

I always used clear screen protecting film (forgot brand) on my 3G. But now since 4G has glass in the back as well I'm looking for a two piece film. I know there are ZAGG IvisibleShield and Skinomi TechSkin but I never had experience with them. Any experience with those two if not on 4G then maybe on older iPhones? I don't like films that leave residue or require some special adhesive solution.

Well I just put a Zagg on mine since that's the only one available in the area for right now. And it's only on the front so I left the original clear strip on the back until I get a clear protector for it. I just ordered a front and back set in Matt (that's what I prefer bc I hate glossy) and it only cost me 5 dollars. I got it off ebay, meanwhile I spent 15 dollars on the zagg front piece. I dont think Zagg is any better than other ones, I had a cheap one from the mall on my 3GS and it worked perfectly and enabled me to sell my phone in mint condition to get the 4G. So, I will probably end up pulling off the glossy zagg and putting on the matt ones from ebay. Good luck on your decision.

I have used SGP shields off Ebay for my 3G S, nice and clean look but, they do scratch up after awhile and I always ended up replacing it because I like a nice clean scratch free screen (if ever really possible). After I purchased my iPhone 4, I decided to try Zaggs out. After I installed it, I will have to say that I didn't like it as much because it's not flat. However, I was told to give it 24 hours to allow it to set and the rest of the air bubbles will smooth themselves out. Waited and next day, not bad. I'm happy with the Zagg and glad I tried it.

Power Support USA makes cases and films for the iPhones. I had one of the Anti-glare films for my iPhone 3G as well as one of their cases which was awesome. The anti-glare film keeps the screen looking smudged up which is nice. The films are very protective. Mildly frustrating to put on but once they are on they are on and you don't have to worry about the screen scratching at all. They are easy to remove if you need to remove them for any reason. I highly recommend them. The only problem is that they don't have skins for the 4 yet. They ship in mid july.

I finally ordered new Wrapsol IP4 Ultra Drop + Scratch Protection (front, back and side films, dry mount). Will report how it goes.

Got Wrapsol Ultra and it promptly goes back. First, by mistake or by design, side film pieces were heavily glued to the backside protector film. Taking them away left noticeable and ugly stripes. Second the film material itself is too thin and too elastic.
