All Iphone 4s have a flicker problem on the home screen needs to be fixed.

Hi all new here nice to meet u all.

I have seen 5 iPhone 4 demo phones and 3 user phones and all have a flicker Has anyone else noticed a slight flicker when scrolling from the 2nd apps page back to the Home screen? It flickers and it's very distracting at times and I've a feeling it's not meant to happen. Didn't happen on my 3GS.

Here I another link about it as I thought this might be another big problem on the iPhone 4

Lol guys, CoBrA2168 is 100% right and I tried to point this out in another thread about this last night. This will happen on any of the iphone4's because of the way they made that search page dim. The reason it only happens by going from page 2 to page 1 is because the search is on page 0 lets call it, before the first home screen. If you happen to scroll over from 2 to 1 a bit too fast, you'll see the starts of the dim from page 0 thus making it look like it's flickering but it's not really.

Every one will do it, so don't worry about it, it's not a defect!

well every one in the apple store did it and other shops, not only that i even showed a member of staf and he could not even see it i tried to point it out for 5 min but he could not see it so he must be blind but there is a slight flicker when going to the home screen its only the wallpaper that flickers and its very fast i would say 1 sec but you can just see it i noticed it stright away when i first picked the phone up.

some wallpapers make it worse than others but as long as apple is reding this and can try and sort it in future firmware i will be happy, i just wanted to point this out to them

Well that's great to hear you are liking your phone but every one of them does it heh. Just glad you don't notice it. I didn't either till somebody mentioned it but again it's not flickering, it's simply that search page starting to dim the screen if you scroll over too fast or far, so simply don't do that, or even if so, it's hardly noticable, definitely not enough to complain about it.

I got a replacement phone today due to yellow-brown strip on first phone screen. My replacement phone does not have the flicker problem you talk about, so **not all**phones have this problem. I noticed that the screen on my replacement phone seems to have a warmer tone to it than the first, but I don't think it is a problem, because the screen images look great, and sharp. Don't spend your time looking for problems and don't compare to your 3Gs, they are different models. Enjoy your phone or return it.

d up !! I know what is the problem

The only reason were getting that sort of "flicker" is because the page sort of goes a tiny bit into the left screen which is the spotlight page....therefore it thinks the page is away to get dark...but no it doesn't as it's pinged back to the normal first page (this only happens in like a millisecond)

If you sort of slide to the left a bit from the first page to the spotlight search you will see the screen sort of goes dark, let it go and it brightens up again

that could be the flicker everyone is thinking they have

All Iphone 4s have a flicker problem on the home screen needs to be fixed.
