17" Apple Studio Display (LCD) compatible with Mac Pro

I am planning on buying a Mac Pro shortly. I have a 2001-vintage 17" Apple Studio Display (LCD), with one of the funky connectors that includes video & USB. Is this display compatible with currently shipping Mac Pro desktops? Is an adapter needed ?

Incidentally I'm also planning to buy a new 24" LED Cinema Display as a primary monitor, but want to use the old 17" studio display as a second monitor. Assume I need a 2nd NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB to support the 2 monitors...

No. One card will run both displays. The card has one DVI port and one Mini DisplayPort. The 24" LED Cinema Display connects to the Mini DisplayPort. The 17" LCD connects to the DVI port via the DVI to ADC adapter.
