iMovie: can't zoom timeline, can't trim beginning of clip

Hi,

just tried to edit a videoclip in iMovie on the iPhone. It seems I can't pinch to zoom in/out the timeline.

Also, I can't trim clips at the beginning of the video. When the marker appears and try to drag it, tye whole timeline moves as opposed to the trim marker.

Trimming works fine at the end of the clip.

Anyone else experiencing this? Bug? Feature? What should I do?

Ok well that is how it happens I guess. I try pinching a jillion times, post a question, then it works. Never mind I guess. I would share what I did but I have no clue, I just tried the same thing I have been trying. It is possible I was trying to pinch in landscape the whole time, and when I switched to portrait it worked. Then when I went back to landscape it worked there too. Is only thing I can think of.

I was able to figure it out. Apparently the pinching only works until a certain zoom level..

And trimming at the beginning of the clip actually works, but it doesn't look like it does. If you are trimming a clip at the beginning, the whole clip moves to the right, so it appears as if it wasn't trimmed, but it actually does. Not very intuitive.

It looks like iMovie for the iPhone will need some updates, after all, it's the first release, so we should be a little patient. Early adopters always get screwed.
