Receiving Blank email messages in Yahoo account

I keep getting blank email messages in my in box on my Yahoo account on my IPhone. The messages are from "(No Sender)" w/ "(No Subject)" and the date sent is 12/31/69. I can't open or read the messages either. The body of the email on the preview screen is "This message has no content". Also, I keep getting new message, legitimate ones, and they don't appear in the in-box.

Can anyone help?

the easiest, permanent fix for this it to delete your account from your phone and then re-add it. i too was getting emails that claimed to have no sender and no subject (do not listen to this, if you check your inbox using a computer you will see that these are indeed actual emails with content and valid senders). i deleted my account and then re-added it and i have not had the problem since.

I too have had this problem with my email provider, a local ISP in the Calif Gold Country...

I noted that the blank messages were always grouped as a thread.. so, I went to settings and turned off "Organize by Thread", and re-checked messages. Each of the "blank" messages showed up as actual messages. So, I'm guessing it is a bit of bug with the "organize by thread" option.

I turned the option back "on" and had no odd blank messages.. We'll see if this persists or the turn off then on option needs to be done again.
