Does your iphone 4 rattle?

I thought mine was rattling yesterday, but it was the bumper I had on, the silver buttons rattled when I shook it. Has yours got a bumper on?

When I put mine back on the rattle stopped so if you fiddle with it you can get it rattle free :O)

I have noticed an annoying rattle on my ip4, sounds as fi there is something loose inside.Seems to becoming from near the camera, was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this? Do you think I should get myself an appoinment at an apple store to get this checked out?

Maybe your proximity sensor. Mine does the same thing

I heard there was an issue with the auto focus on the 3gs causing a rattle noise, maybe thats the issue?

Yes, I have noticed a rattle as well coming from the upper third of the device. When lightly tapping the back by the Apple logo, shaking the phone, or even gently laying down on its back, I hear this rattle. Obviously this is not natural. I'll wait it out a few more days and see if more people start discussing this topic and then head into an Apple store for a Genius appointment. Honestly, I doubt they currently have any phones to swap out defective units at this time, so going now wouldn't make a hoot of difference.

My on/off button rattles a bit. Not enough to bug me, but it does have a little wiggle to it.

Try putting your finger on the sleep/wake button. I could hear a rattle, but when I placed my finger on the sleep/wake button and shook it again, the rattle was no more 🙂

Have narrowed down mine to the power button being slightly loose and rattling, when I put my finger over it, rattle free. Can live with that!

when i put the phone down lightly or even lightly tap the area around the camera, i hear a light rattling. its very annoying because i hear/feel it every time i put the phone down. should i go back to exchange it?

Yeah that's what mine was (power button AKA sleep/wake button)
