iPhone 4 Voicemail Setup

I just upgraded from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4. I synch-ed my iPhone with iTunes and put my back-up from my previous phone. Once I touch my VM icon it tries to dial the Voicemail. Once it gets connected, it asks for my voicemail number. I am trying to setup my Visual Voicemail but it doesn't let me.

I tried Customer Care of AT&T and they reset my data-plan an everything but it didn't work. Is anybody else facing this issue?

Macbook Pro, iOS 4, Mac OS X 10.5.8

This worked for me with the same problem:

Dial 611 from your phone and follow the menus to reset voicemail password. ATT will text you with a new password that you can then use to re-set up your visual voicemail. After you finish set-up you can then go into Settings>Phone to change your password to whatever you wish. Hope this works for you.
