Unwanted automatic mixing during bounce

For some reason, every time I bounce a project, it automatically changes the volume of each track, ones that I have intentionally altered in order to achieve the desired sound. This is extremely irritating, and I have no idea what the problem is. I tried turning normalization off, but the problem persists. Thanks

Ok, so if you haven't written any automation, then there are most likely MIDI volume control messages that have been written onto the track.

Select the regions on a track, and open the Event List. In that list, do you see anything that says control 7, which is the MIDI CC for volume? If so, select one of those events, and under the Event window's EDIT menu, choose "Select similar". This will select all the MIDI volume messages. Hit delete.

If you do find this, you'll need to then do this for every track in your song.

See if that's what's going on....
