I got mine to work too... I read the back of my keyboard and the keyboard actions to make it discoverable were printed right on it. Good thing too... internet data was scarce since my keyboard was designed to work with proprietary software, and not on the iPhone (unless I wanted to jailbreak it).
Once I found how to make mine discoverable, which was to hold down the ctrl button simultaneously with the two function buttons, it popped right up in bluetooth settings. I entered the code produced by the iPhone on the keyboard, hit return and viola.
The keyboard has limited functionality, but is at least good for typing emails.
