How can I use SSH and Finder's Personal File Sharing
Hello. I recently noticed that, when using the Finder to connect to a local file server (specifically, from my desktop Mac G5 10.4 to my PowerBook G4 10.4), I can request a secure connection by clicking on the gear icon and choosing Options > Use SSH connection.
However, it doesn't seem to work. When I try to connect to the PowerBook, I type in the password only to have the computer warn me that the other machine doesn't support secure connections.
In Terminal, however, I can ssh <username>@10.0.1.4, supply the machine password, and (apparently) have a secure connection.
What have I missed? Is there a way to allow secure connections via the Finder? If so, how can I enable this activity?
Thanks for your advice!

PowerMac G5, PowerBook G4&3 Mac OS X (10.4.3) Nothing can hide from the Kernel!
