Facebook app on iPhone 4 - Doesn't work?

Hi,

I'm experiencing some difficulties to load the Facebook application on the iPhone 4. I know the 3.1.3 update doesn't "support" iOS4 features such as backgrounding/multitasking, but it should, at least, work no?

My cellular DATA is turned ON, I tried both with the Wifi and the 3G, and it connects to Facebook very randomly (I would say one each 10 times).
I reinstalled the application twice (just by deleting it and download it again) and it doesn't work.

But* the PUSH seems to work... except that I'm screwed as soon as I click on "view"..
Any idea?

Also, is it normal that we have to type the password EVERY TIME we want to connect?

I'm experiencing the same problem. I have a 3g with installed ios4. Every time that I try to log onto facebook it asks my password again. Then it also stalls while loading my password and then if it does open it crashes with 5 different pages opened on facebook. All my other apps seem fina and the facebook app worked perfectly before the update. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app itself as well.

The latest version of FB app for iphone (released just this week?) seems to have fixed MOST of my problems. However, if I click on the Notifications alert that shows in the bar at the bottom of the screen, it hangs and I have to get out and then it asks me to login again and doesn't work, just like before. So I guess I will not click on the notifications alert until they work out this little bug. But it's much better than before.
