I tried playing a burned DVD, but the player pops up with a message that says "supported disc not available." I looked it up and that apparently means that it needs to be burned in a different format. However, the real problem is that it won't allow me to eject the disc. When I press eject it just gives me the "supported disc not available" message and does nothing. I tried all three ways of ejecting (in viewer, on keyboard, and control-click on the icon in the dock). How can I get this disc out?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6)

I figured out that I was able to eject the disc by restarting the computer and then control-clicking on the disc icon that showed up on the desktop, and while continuing to hold the control key down, selecting "Eject Only [insert disc name]."
