I'm taking my Mac Book Pro to get fixed and i was wondering if The Apple Store loans out laptops while ones laptop is getting repaired. because i need a laptop to work on a freelance project i'm doing.

Why not ask at the Apple store?

    Hi m_hart,

I took the guess work out for you. I had to call over to my local Apple Store to confirm an appointment for later today and decided to ask the question. I asked to speak with the Lead Genius and received the following answer:

+Q: Does Apple offer any loaner machines during a repair period?+

+A: Unfortunately not. Apple does not give us any 'extra' machines to be loaned out. We have machines in the store you can use if it's a same day repair but those are public machines and cannot leave the store. Some Apple Authorized Service Providers offer 'loaner' machines at a daily fee but that offering is separate from the terms and conditions of Apple's limited warranty and AppleCare.+

    Hope that helps.
