My ipad isn't resolving a particular url with the latest information so I need to force something akin to ipconfig /flushdns on the pc. My iPhone and my MacPro correctly resolve the url with the new data just that iPad that can't.
Any ideas?

I use Open DNS on my iPad.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_dns

Open the system settings on the iPad. Click on the wifi setting and pick the wifi connection your using. Then click on the blue arrow. Plug these numbers into the DSN setting...

208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220

Since I use open DNS on my desktop computer, I can't see why it can't be used on the iPad. This may help you, it can't hurt.
