Rapidly draining battery with NO push or background apps??

Battery level : 31%

So, just like the topic says, my iPhone battery is rapidly draining. I have read a few forums to see if anything is similar to my problem, but I have found nothing. I have an iPhone 3G with 3.1.3. I do not use edge or the 3G network. I do not have any of my apps set to allow push notifications, or any notifications for that matter. Nor do I think any of my apps are running in the background. I have restarted my iPhone several times, but with no luck. It just started a couple days ago and I have not changed anything on my iPhone prior or during that time. I do charge it every night so that it is full the next morning. Even when my phone is in standby, it drains at a rapid rate of about 1% every thirty seconds to a minute. I'm lost. I don't want to restore if I don't need to, but if anyone has any suggestions (other than what I have already tried) I would definitely be open to them. Every other post I had seen on here about battery drain, someone always had something running that was a liable cause. Please bear in mind, I use none of that stuff and my iPhone drains that rapidly in standby, even worse when I use it!

Battery level : 26%

XP, iPhone OS 3.1.3
